Name: Rhaevin of the Scorpio Constellation, Queen and Sailor Soldier
Alias: Raven D'Elormie
Age: physically 25
Birthdate: November 1
Sex: Female
Occupation: Mercenary, second-in-command of the Zodiac clan, on Earth she poses as a mortician.
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Black
Height: 5'7"
Face Claim: Gong Li
Appearance: A beautiful but off putting woman, Raven appears to be of Eastern origin, her hair sleek and black, her eyes just as dark, her skin fine with an olive tone. She is a slender woman, fit, who moves with an almost feline like grace. She rarely smiles, her lips forming a straight line of concentration or disinterest.
She dresses in dark clothing, favoring deep crimson colors and black lace. Her shoes look about as painful as they do beautiful, her clothes form fitting. She sometimes may wear black framed glasses and a white coat.
During court functions, she throws gold and garnet into the mix, dressing with a wealth and regality that is unrivaled by most. The Scorpion Constellation is an opulent one.
When transformed, Sailor Scorpio's uniform is a crimson one piece made of a silken material with a black lace atop it that seems to form a spider-web like pattern. Over that she wears a long black robe lined with crimson lace.
Personality: She is quiet. It is perhaps one of the first things people notice about her. Not a shy quiet, but clearly a woman who chooses not to waste time on idle conversation. Social events are not her cup of tea and they never have been. Raven keeps to herself, preferring to study or practice her music in peace. She is an accomplished musician, playing a vast array of instruments both of Earth and not of the Earth. Her favorite is the violin and has been since the eighteenth century. She also enjoys the piano.
She is deeply spiritual, and while she keeps the specifics of her beliefs to herself, it is well known that she is rather accomplished at the occult and is fascinated by all things that deal with mysticism.
She is seemingly heartless and very ruthless. She strongly believes that ends justify the means and rarely, if ever, apologizes for any atrocities she commits in the name of the greater good. When it comes to making a tough call, she is very capable of approaching a situation without emotion or bias and making what she feels is the best choice for her team.
She is the leader type, but she is more than willing to bow to Sailor Leo, able to recognize that she is more fit to be the leader than any of them. She is closest with the top ranking members of the Zodiac clan and takes her job very seriously.
Like the other Zodiacs, honor is extremely important to her. She will die for it and kill for it. Out of all of the soldiers, it has been said that Raven is the one who holds the deepest of grudges and is more than willing to wait a long time to exact revenge on those who have wronged her. She's very protective of the clan and would do anything for them, and can be just as deadly as the Scorpion if somebody hurts one of them.
Powers and Abilities:
Weapons - Orion Deck (tarot cards)
General - Only two cards are considered dangerous, and what she draws is based on complete chance. For the most part, when Scorpio throws a card, unless it is the Hanged Man or Death, it merely releases a noxious gas that makes the target ill if inhaled.
The Hanged Man - If hit with the card, renders the target completely void of energy. Gives them the feeling of extreme lethargy.
Death - A very rare draw. Can cause instant death to one who does not possess extraordinary powers. To a person with power, could cause serious injury and incapacitate them.
Family:
Husband - Nahathian Oleanderah
Other Connections:
Her fellow Zodiac Soldiers are as family to her.
History: It is impossible to say how old she is. Well, it is possible, but rather tedious. It's documented somewhere in the codex... it's a matter of finding it that she takes the most issue with. The point is, it doesn't matter how old she is. It only matters that she's older than most people you will ever meet. Older even than the original Moon Kingdom. She was born in Nepas in the palace in line with the prophecy. The previous Queen and Sailor Scorpio had perished in battle and the oracle spoke of the next in line, a woman who would be born of a widow. Her father had also perished in war, and upon her birth, she had the sign of Scorpio upon her forehead marking her as the next queen and soldier of the Scorpion Constellation.
She was immediately moved into the palace to begin training and was quickly betrothed to the son of the last senshi, an infant named Nahathian Oleanderah. They were forced to take lessons together, to get to know one another, but it was perhaps not the best course of action. She despised everything about him from his weak frame to his simpering stutter. She was too wrapped up in herself to realize just how nervous she made him for when she wasn't around, he was just as bold and bossy as she was.
She first met Sailor Leo, her queen, at a young age and immediately felt a kinship with her. To follow would be her meeting with the rest of the clan, and the same would go for them. She automatically felt tied to them, glad to be in the service of the Constellation federation. And she served well. The top adviser to Sailor Leo, she spent much of her time in Leonis as a diplomat leaving her betrothed to tend to her own kingdom.
Their kingdom was almost never at peace. The federation excelled at war, seeking the service of those who needed help, expounding on their skills. But never had the federation itself been attacked. But it was only a matter of time. And it was her own kingdom that would go down in history as the first to be attacked by outsiders. She had been away at another war when an allied force surprised them. They had assumed that with the Zodiac Soldiers away, it would be easy to overcome their home and take it from them. And the Zodiac's had feared that was true. Once they heard that there was a large force moving towards Scorpion, they abandoned their contract temporarily and hurried to defend their home. Only when they got their, the opposing army was already in shambles...
After learning it was her betrothed that had held the attackers back and then decimated their lines, Rhaevin developed a deeper respect for her husband-to-be. After returning back from the war as they had a contract to fulfill, she married him willingly. The respect eventually would grow into something deeper, but she would never dream of expressing exactly what that something is.
Not long after she wed, they were contacted by a distant kingdom, one they knew of quite well but had never thought to hear from. Queen Serenity contracted them to aid in a war against the Golden Kingdom, and with the top ranking Zodiacs urging Leo to spread their influence into that territory, they agreed to take the contract and helped with the war. It was a short one, but so it goes when the very prince of the Golden Kingdom was opposed to it from the start. Apparently there were things that involved brainwashing and some power-mad witch... It didn't matter to Rhaevin. All that mattered was that they got paid... and go credit. They got half of that.
When it became clear that Queen Serenity was going to keep their involvement quiet, the Zodiacs became enraged and decided to declare war on the Moon and, by extension, the Golden Kingdom. They were merciless, wiping everything out... But they did not kill Queen Serenity in time to prevent her from using the power of the silver crystal. Quickly the Zodiacs fled before the outer senshi could arrive, particularly before Saturn, and returned home to wait for the wish of the Queen to take shape in the Earth's future.
Now they are quite convinced the remnants of the Moon Kingdom have been reborn, and the Zodiacs, wishing to fulfill their blood vengeance, have found a temporary home for themselves their. Leaving their men in charge of defending the federation, they made lives on Earth. Rhaevin became Raven, a mortician at a small funeral home in London. She is aware of a great power centralized in the city, but where it's coming from... she has no idea. All she knows is that she must find the Sailor Soldiers and kill them. She also aims to find the Shitennou of the former Golden Kingdom in an attempt to turn them against their once former allies.

"You call this clean!?"
Raven looked up from the booth she sat in, her dark eyes having been trained on the newspaper before but now all too interested in the barista who was getting yelled at by who seemed to be the manager. Girl looked near tears, her hands shaking as she shrank beneath his fury. Rolling her eyes she looked back at the paper. How annoying. They could have at least kept the shouting private so that she could have read in peace.
Everyday she scoured the papers, looking for signs of something unusual. Damn, it was getting to where they were about to have to launch extreme measures to weed them out. That would get interesting.
Rolling the paper up, she got up and gave the manager a scathing look. If the girl messed up she deserved the treatment, but honestly... he was more annoying than anything. Maybe she'd be able to read at the funeral home. It was always quiet there...
