Name: Sean Ryan Scott
Alias: Lord Kunzite
Age: 28
Birthdate: April 15
Sex: Male
Occupation: Detective Sergeant for London Police Force
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Gray
Height: 6'5"
Face Claim: Wentworth Miller
Appearance: Sean's most notable attribute would be his height. For the majority of his life, he's towered over most of his peers, taking after his father in that respect. His skin is naturally dark as his mother is of African descent, and his eyes, from his father, are a light gray, sometimes appearing green or blue depending on what he is wearing. He tends to keep his hair very short but when he does let it grow out, it's dark brown and is slightly wavy. He carries a few scars as a result of his career path but thinks little of them. He's got a birthmark above his knee cap on his left leg that's shaped like a sickle.
Personality:
Sean is a simple man of simple tastes and simple needs. He values hard work and has a talent for motivating himself to do his best at anything he does. He is not prone to complaining and truly has little patience for anybody who bemoans every little thing that gets thrown at them. He is a problem solver at heart and believes that every situation has a solution. Able to think quick on his feet, even more so in high pressure situations, it seemed only natural that he would lean towards a career in criminal justice. His mother pushed him to go to law school, but he craved the action and adventure of being in the field. He wanted to be proactive. He's got a strong sense of justice and truly does think the world is black in white when it comes to right and wrong. There are no shades of gray. You're either on the right side of the law or the wrong side. He can be very cold and unforgiving. A criminal is always a criminal to Sean and he holds that most men who are arrested will be arrested again.
On a personal level, he is an extremely dedicated and loyal son, brother, and friend. He does not have many close friends, but the few he does have are more like brothers to him than anything else. Once you have earned his trust and his friendship, it is a hard thing to shake. It is true to say that his friends are quite stuck with him. It would take a pretty serious offense for him to cut them out of his life, but once they are cut, it is safe to say they are gone for good. In terms of his family, Sean is the eldest of four, his three siblings being all women. He is extremely protective of them, especially of the youngest. He is close with his mother and step father but has a strained relationship with his father.
When he does manage to open up to a person, Sean can be a very laid back guy who finds laughter and humor easily. His humor is a dry one but he is pretty good at being able to tell if his jokes are being well received or misunderstood. Otherwise, he is a quiet and private man, keeps to himself and never indulges in personal story telling with strangers or even colleagues or acquaintances. His business is nobody else's. One important thing to note is that though Sean is not a man quick to anger, once he has lost his temper, it can be a frightening thing. His fits of anger have been known to last quite a while. He is rarely ever apologetic about them, knowing full well that if his rage was roused, it was for good reason.
Powers and Abilities:
*It is assumed that as of right now, he doesn't really have any powers that set him apart from anybody else. It won't be until he realizes who he is and 'awakens' as Kunzite will he regain these powers*
As Kunzite: Has the ability to create a shield around himself, though this shield only blocks out magic. Physical attacks and weapons (swords, arrows, etc.) are not hindered by this shield. Also, if somebody is much stronger than he is, it is likely their attack will be able to penetrate the shield.
As Kunzite: An extension of the shield- Kunzite can absorb attacks and shoot them back at the caster.
As Kunzite: He demonstrates some telekinetic/telepathic abilities. With the other Shitennou, he has a mental connection, sometimes able to communicate telepathically with them. He cannot do this with anybody else with perhaps the exception of Endymion. He can move objects without touching them.
Family:
Father - Ryan Jameson
Step Father - Benjamin Scott
Mother - Helena Kirkpatrick-Scott
Sister - Vanessa Scott

Sister - Olivia Scott
Other Connections:
Endymion - Leader, prince, best friend, police partner
Shitennou - Fellow generals under Prince Endymion. His subordinates and good friends.
History:
Sean Ryan Scott was what his parents called a surprise. His conception was not planned, but they were overjoyed to find out they would be parents. Unwed at the time, his mother, then only 19, was forced from her home and lived in her boyfriend's parent's home for the next two years. He remembers little of the small flat, only that the stairs were narrow and that they had a big, black dog that he was terrified of. Of course, he was pretty sure that any creature that was so massively bigger than a toddler would seem frightening to just about anybody. Just before his second birthday, his mother and father finally moved out of that flat into a smaller apartment, but it was at least their own. Sean did not have his own room and was forced to sleep out in the living area that they'd converted into his bedroom. He thought nothing of it, but he knew at least that his mother was unhappy with the circumstances of their living situation.
His parents broke up when he was five years old and his mother moved back in with her parents who'd welcomed her home after not speaking for so long. For the first time in his life, he had his own room and it was an actual room, complete with Transformers bed sheets on his very own bed and his own toy box. He had no idea what to do with so many toys, and truth be told, he only ever played with two of the action figures his grandfather had given him that year for Christmas. He much preferred playing outside or reading. When he was seven years old, his mother met Benjamin. He was the first man she'd dated since his father that she'd ever introduced Sean to, and that in itself told Sean just how serious the relationship was. He liked Benjamin not just because he made an effort to befriend Sean but because he was the first person who had managed to make his mother smile so much. Nobody could have expected him to be so thrilled when he learned that he'd proposed to his mother. He took easily to him, seeing him as the father figure he lacked in his own father who sometimes happened to show up every so often to play father for a day or something.
When he was ten, his sister was born and two more would follow in the next three years to come. He took to his role as big brother rather well, babysitting when his parents had to work late hours and being their shoulder to cry on or their voice of tough love when needed.
He was a good student at school, made good grades and kept to himself. He did play sports, playing on the football team. His step father had dreams of him playing for Manchester U. but even though Sean was a natural athlete, it was not his own dream. At first college seemed like a no-brainer. He loved to learn, enjoyed the classroom setting, and had everything in line to attend any University of his choice. But then Benjamin got laid off and his mother's paycheck just wasn't cutting it. At risk of losing their house, right after he graduated from college he got a job doing construction. Still, he felt something was lacking, and though he knew school was not an option, he felt he could at least satisfy his desire to help others. That was why he decided to become a police officer.
His mother was against it at first, urging him to keep saving up for school, and though he promised he would one day, he would not be talked out of his decision. He passed his physical exam with distinction and was accepted on the force as a new constable in a probationary period. He has served with the force ever since, becoming an experienced officer. He threw himself into the job, taking a break only to attend school for a bit. Now he is a detective sergeant, serving alongside with one of his dearest friends.
Writing Sample:
"Your father's on the phone."
Ryan bent low to kiss his mother on the cheek, but gave her an inquisitive glance. "He's not here? I thought I saw his car in the port."
"No, Ben's upstairs. I mean your father," she said, covering the mouthpiece with her hand as if that would shield their conversation.
"Oh. Him." He grimaced and reached for the phone, deciding it was best to just get the obligatory greetings, empty promises, and well wishes out of the way. It was a short call. Short as they normally were, and he hung up feeling just a bit less joyous now than when he'd woken up. The worst part was he still believed he was his father. Just because they shared blood didn't make him his father. Benjamin was his father and he wished that there was a spiteful part of him that could make that point clear and known. But he would not shame his mother that way. She'd raised him better than that.
"The girls here yet?" he asked, putting his hands on his hips, trying to forget just how miserable that man could make him feel. He'd come to spend Sunday with his family like they always did. Not dwell on people who ought to just know when they weren't needed anymore.
